Hybrid Fitness Reigate franchisee Jason already had experience in the fitness industry, having managed a studio in Sutton. However, he felt he had reached a peak. He wanted to explore options to expand his business beyond its current limitations.
When Jason ran his studio, he offered HIIT-based classes, indoor cycle, bootcamp classes and personal training. The space was limited by its size and equipment. However, it had a thriving community spirit and was home to several passionate members. Jason wanted to maintain the community feel but bring it to a bigger audience, which led him to Hybrid Fitness.
"It felt like a natural fit. Hybrid Fitness had recently announced exciting expansion plans. In early conversations with the team, there was a real emphasis on being for the many whilst providing a community-led, inclusive training environment," Jason explains. "What I had with my studio was a warm and welcoming environment with some great members, but we lacked size, space, equipment and support. Talking with Ant, Mark and Matt at Hybrid Fitness, they assured me that there would be an excellent level of support as standard as they looked to me to help grow a thriving and inspiring club."

The catalyst which led Jason to invest in Hybrid Fitness was meeting other members of the Hybrid Fitness team. Gym managers, coaches, marketing and ops support. "They all showed a lot of love for the brand and the people at the top and felt invested in the product," Said Jason. "They knew they were on to something different from the competition, something more inclusive, that offered more to members than a standard gym membership."
After a series of meetings, trying the product for himself, Jason decided to move forward with Hybrid Fitness, ending conversations with competitor franchises. The support of the team, the confidence and belief in the brand, the growth plans and the physical product made the decision easy. "Access to a great gym, unlimited access to classes, great coaches and a great support network, throughout my various conversations, I felt that Hybrid Fitness was offering more to me, members and the industry than others."
Looking to the future, Jason says, "There's more growth to be had, but we have and have had from day one, a thriving community and a club with every type of fitness enthusiast as well as those new to training. There's a real inclusive spirit, and it's great to walk the floor and see people buying into the Hybrid Fitness method.
